There’s just one month to go before the nation starts to see a convoy of learner cars on the road with an array of colourful spots!

The Big Learner Relay kick starts on Thursday, 30 October from Northern Ireland and finishes on Friday, 14 November in Birmingham after a tour of the UK.

Hundreds of ADIs up and down the country have signed up to take part in the big relay.

Driving instructor and brain child of the event, Louise Walsh, came up with the idea after watching last year’s Children in Need.

The Big Learner Relay is a relay of a top box from one driving lesson to another around the country.

How can I get involved?

There are a few ways you can get involved.

Lead instructor wanted

The team are missing a lead instructor for lessons in the Berwick area. Get in touch via the Big Learner Relay website if you want to get involved.

Join the convoy

If you’re a driving instructor then why not join the convoy. Check out the map to find your nearest lead driving lesson and follow along.

Download and print a poster to promote your local convoy to other driving instructors too.

Why not help the team fundraise for Children in Need and add to the total of the Big Learner Relay. Talk to your learners, local ADI associations and colleagues at the test centres for ideas to get fundraising.
