Hitachi Capital Driving Instructor Solutions, the market leading supplier of new dual-controlled cars to driving schools and instructors, has supplied the cars for a new ITV primetime show called the Undriveables.
Coming soon to ITV, each episode of The Undriveables will follow the progress of two different learners whose L-plates have become permanent fixtures, who have had countless lessons and failed tests multiple times.
TV production company Shine TV hired 10 Ford Fiestas from Hitachi Capital Driving Instructor Solutions to film lessons and then the resulting tests in and around London and Liverpool. The cars were provided complete with He-Man dual controls and bespoke ‘Undriveables’ branding.
Chris Tarry, general manager at Hitachi Capital Driving Instructor Solutions, commented: “We were absolutely thrilled to be able to help the TV production team out by providing the dual-controlled cars. We are all looking forward to seeing the show when it airs and we hope everyone enjoys the show too.”
