How many of you have made a wish to win the lottery? I know I have and it’s easy to daydream about all the things we want to do, see and receive. But, there’s a new buzzword that optimists are embracing. Even celebrity chat show host, Oprah Winfrey is said to be a fan and does this religiously. But, what am I talking about?

Similar to the post I did earlier in the week about changing a negative into a positive, the one thing you can do daily to change your mindset and improve your well-being is be grateful.
Instead of wishing for what you don’t have start focusing on what you do.
It’s all about gratitude.
Write a list every day of all the things you are grateful for, this can be anything from a delicious coffee, to a learner passing their test or a brand new car.
Technology has made this even easier because if pen and paper are not your tools then you can download an app! There is one available called the Gratitude Journel and I’m sure there are others out there too.
