Any drivers who have a Vauxhall registered since May 2014 should not drive until it has been inspected Vauxhall has urged. Here are the details you need if you have leased a Vauxhall Corsa from us since May 2014.

UPDATED (27/09): Vauxhall has confirmed that around dozen of your lease Corsa cars will be affected by this recall. Please read on for details.

Why are Vauxhall recalling cars?

The manufacturer is recalling 3,000 cars including the Corsa model because they were built with a steering system that did not meet their specification.

Vauxhall said: “As a precaution, these vehicles should not be driven prior to inspection.

“Vauxhall puts the safety and convenience of its customers first and as this condition concerns their safety, the company is taking immediate action.”

No accidents or injuries has been recorded in relation to this issue to date.

What do I need to do?

If your Corsa was registered since May 2014 you will need to get it inspected. Please use the number below to get advice from Vauxhall on the next steps.

UPDATE: You can check if your car will need to be recalled by looking at the steering column on the clutch side for 20K3 or 20E4. The cars with these numbers will need to be recalled. Any other number/letter sequence is safe to drive.
